New and Improved

Have you visited the new and improved Seattle University Magazine online edition? If not, you are missing a freshly redesigned site with new features that aim to take reader engagement and interaction to a new level.

In addition to serving as a complement to the print edition of the quarterly publication, the online site introduces a new Editor’s Blog, updated weekly, a question of the month, called “Talking Points,” where users can weigh in on a specific topic and web-exclusive content. A cleaner design and user-friendly navigation throughout the site supports a more dynamic display and interplay of words and images.

The site is updated frequently with new content added in between the three-month period between print editions. Readers can get news and feature stories that connect them to campus, to events, faculty/staff profiles and stories on alumni. Larger photos and more multimedia options—video and photo galleries—complement the written word. Clear and easy-to-use forms for commenting on stories and submitting ideas and news tips add to the sense of community that we strive to foster.

The site will continue to be refined in the coming weeks and months, so check it out today and tell us what you think. Follow us on Twitter for updates on when new content is added. Send feedback, general comments and story suggestions via e-mail to

And, as always, thanks for reading.
