Jim Adolphson, associate vice president for finance, retired today after 37 years of service to Seattle University. In announcing Adolphson's retirement, Chief Financial Officer Connie Kanter said, "(Adolphson) has provided exceptional, consistent financial leadership to the institution during a period of tremendous growth and change. Jim's commitment to the university has been unparalleled. Under Jim's guidance and direction, Seattle University has achieved a new level of financial stability."
Days before he embarked on his next chapter in life, Adolphson sat down for an exit interview of sorts with Mike "The Mayor" Mullen. Here are excerpts from the mingling session.
