Located in the urban neighborhood of Capitol Hill, Seattle University is very easy to get to, no matter what your preferred method of transportation is. The individual addresses of each of the residence halls are listed on the right side of this page. The following links provide helpful information on how to find your way to us!
Seattle is famous for its rain, but visitors are often surprised to find that most of our summer days are warm and sunny! Although the average temperature is in the low 70s, it is possible for some weeks of summer to have temperatures reaching 90°F or higher.
Residence halls and many campus building do not have air-conditioning. Ask us about your options for beating the heat! Fans may be rented at the front desk while supplies last (see Amenities). Guests may also access the air-conditioned Student Center with their Conference Card and our recreational swimming pool is popular during the summer months (see Fitness Center).
Only those guests 21 years of age and older are permitted to consume alcoholic beverages in private rooms of residences only. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed in lounge areas of residence halls or anywhere else outside the residences, except in arranged program events with appropriate permits.

No pets or animals are permitted in campus housing at any time, with the exception of an animal trained at a recognized school or facility for the purposes of assisting or accommodating a person with a disability.

For check-out: all belongings must be removed from your room and your key must be returned to the front desk by 10 a.m. on your day of check out. Limited luggage storage is available at the front desk. Overnight luggage storage is not available. Guests will be subject to a $25.00 fee for late check-out.
Your Conference Card is programmed with door access (and elevator access) for your residence as well as a meal plan if your group has arranged for it (please refer to your Meal Plan Guide for specifics). Replacement cards may be purchased at your front desk for a fee of $20.00 (plus sales tax).

Programs longer than seven nights will receive room service once a week on a pre-arranged schedule. This includes fresh linens and towels and emptying of waste bins. Guests must remove belongings from beds so the bed can be made.
A username and password are required to access both hardwired and wireless SU networks. WIRELESS ACCESS: Devices may connect using “SU-guest” network and your username and password. WIRED ACCESS: Guests must provide their own Ethernet cable and plug it into one of their rooms network ports/jacks For assistance contact your front desk or call the IT Helpdesk at 206-296-5571. Wireless and network access is complimentary. Front desk staff and/or IT Helpdesk staff may not always be able to resolve connectivity issues and therefore service cannot always be guaranteed.
Your room key will open your room. Please return your key at check-out in the envelope in which it was provided, or you will be charged a replacement fee of $175.00 plus tax for a new lock. Keys left in rooms will be listed as “lost” and the replacement fee will be assessed.
Coin-operated laundry facilities are available in the basements of Campion and Bellarmine Halls and on each floor in Chardin Hall and in the laundry facility of the Murphy Apartments. Laundry soap can be purchased at the Campus Store. Cash can be exchanged for quarters at the front desk.
Lounges are located throughout Campion Hall, Bellarmine Hall, and Chardin Hall, and usually have a TV and DVD player. Remote control units can be checked out at the front desk with a valid ID as collateral.
Mail is delivered to the residence halls Monday through Friday. Guests staying in Murphy Apartments will have mail delivered to the Campion desk. Should you wish to receive mail while here, please be sure it is addressed as:

Parking passes are required for all vehicles and may be purchased at the front desk of your housing accommodations for $6.00 per vehicle, per day. Visitors may also pay to park at the meter in the visitor lot on the lower level of the Murphy Garage or in the Visitor Lot at 12th Avenue and E. Marion Street. Vehicles parked without a valid permit will be cited and fined. Seattle University is not responsible for loss, theft, damage to vehicles or their contents, or parking fines. Vehicles that are parked in non-designated areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Noise levels must be lowered between 10pm and 7am.
The use or sale of tobacco products is prohibited on and within all Seattle University owned, leased, or managed property.
Guests staying on campus are prohibited from having overnight guests in his or her unit. Doing so will result in additional lodging and penalty charges and visitors will be asked to leave.
