The CEJS used to be housed in the Bullitt Center, billed as the world’s “greenest commercial building.” The Bullitt Foundation's headquarters meet the rigorous standards of the Living Building Challenge

CEJS staff give free tours by appointment to SU staff, faculty, and students. Bring your entire class, department, club or come on your own. If you are not affiliated with Seattle University, you can still take a tour (learn how). The tour highlights the mechanical and electrical rooms, the gray water and rain water treatment systems, composting toilets and the irresistible staircase. Lemieux Library & McGoldrick Learning Commons 

The tour of this Seattle University LEED Gold building features a raingarden, a chilled beam that cools the computer lab, a raised floor supplying warm air near occupants’ feet, sustainable materials and water efficient fixtures. Learn more.
