Jessica Finn Coven is Director of the City of Seattle's Office of Sustainability & Environment. The Office collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders to develop innovative environmental solutions that foster equitable, vibrant communities and shared prosperity. Jessica previously served as the Washington State Director of Climate Solutions where her work focused on developing legislative and policy strategies to reduce global warming pollution and grow an equitable clean-energy economy in Washington State. Congressman Adam Smith
Adam Smith (Democrat) has served as a member of the United States House of Representatives since 1997, representing Washington's 9th congressional district. Smith served in the Washington State Senate from 1991 to 1997. He was just twenty-five years old at the time of his election in 1990, defeating a 13-year incumbent Republican, Eleanor Lee, to become the youngest State Senator in the country. Smith won his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1996 by defeating another incumbent Republican, Randy Tate. Read more

Andy Hoffman, Ph. D., is a professor at the University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources & Environment and the Ross School of Business. He has published over 100 articles and eleven books, focusing on institutional change and sustainable corporate strategies. Read more

We are sorry but pre-registration for the Sustainability Tours on Monday 08/08 is now closed. We will accept registrations on site at the Just Sustainability conference (at the Student Center Hearth area) as we still have a few spots open for the tours.
Join us for a fun night at Safeco Field at the end of the Conference on Tuesday, 08/09, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets at reduced fee are limited.
We are sorry but pre-registration for the baseball game on Tuesday 08/09 is now closed. We will accept registrations on site at the Just Sustainability conference (at the Student Center Hearth area) as we still have a few spots open. Only check will be accepted as payment method.
Presenters at the conference will have the opportunity to publish their paper in a special issue of the journal Interdisciplinary Environmental Review. Authors can submit their entire paper to cejs@seattleu.edu. Full papers are due on September 26, 2016. We will notify authors in October 2016 if the paper has been selected for publication. Final versions of accepted papers will be due on November 1st, 2016.
