Creative Commons Search

horizontal rule

Creative Commons Search (or CC Search) is a convenient search tool for finding videos, images, audio and any other digital content shared explicitly for reuse under Creative Commons (CC) license. Looking for an image, song or existing video to incorporate into your presentations, for example? You can search YouTube, Flicker (images), Wikimedia Commons, Google, and SoundCloud from the CC Search page just to name a few. Items from CC search results are generally licensed for reuse and remixing but it's always good to check for the specific CC license attached to each resource. Attribution is the most common requirement for these resources but otherwise you are free to use and remix CC licensed resources in your course materials.
