Seattle University reserves the right to be selective when determining which organizations will be represented at special events such as career fairs, networking events or group information sessions. Decisions related to participation and time preference will be made in a fair and equitable manner after considering factors such as space availability, student interest, and positions available.

We hope that an organization will not cancel, but in the event that an organization chooses to withdraw completely from the event, the following refund schedule will apply. Once your registration is confirmed, our cancellation policy is in effect. The following cancellation policy applies:

  • If cancellation occurs less than two weeks prior, you forfeit your full registration fee.
  • If cancellation occurs two weeks prior to the event, you will receive a refund less the credit card processing fee.

All changes and cancellation requests must be in writing. No refunds will be issued less than two weeks prior to the event and you remain responsible for paying any outstanding balance. Outstanding bills from this and previous events must be paid and may prevent participation in future Career Services events.

Organizations that do not check-in by the event start time on the day of the event will be considered a “no show." Your spot may be reassigned and the organization will be billed for the event in full. Outstanding bills from this and previous events must be paid and may prevent participation in future Career Services events.

In the event a fair must be canceled or the date moved, organizations that have already paid will have the option to receive a full refund or have the registration fee applied to the next scheduled fair. If circumstances warrant, the director reserves the right to extend the final deadline.

Recruiters and employers may only use fairs to identify and recruit candidates for employment and/or their academic programs. Recruiters may not sell their products/services or solicit the future purchase of products/services at a fair.

Information Sessions*

We will work with you to arrange targeted on-campus visits to match your schedule or during key industry weeks. Information Sessions are typically held 12:30 PM - 1:20 PM on Tuesdays or Thursdays. When you submit a request, our team seeks to secure an on-campus partner (example: student club, research center, academic department) before we can confirm your event. This helps us gauge fit for both employers and students.

Requests to schedule an Information Session should be done through the Redhawk Network, powered by Handshake. Once logged in on your Home page, click the "Create an Event" button and in the Type section, select Info Session.

*Please note: These are typically more intimate events. When you "Create an Event", this does not guarantee an on-campus Information Session as it is subject to availability and campus partner collaboration.
