Welcome undergraduates, graduate students and new alumni! The Career Engagement Office (CEO) offers a wide range of programs and services to help you learn about your own professional formation and find experiential learning opportunities to propel your career. We can help you with exploring career paths, finding internships, conducting a successful job search, applying to graduate school and preparing for your next professional role. Our staff is passionate about helping you find work that is meaningful to you and that will allow you to contribute your talents, skills, and experience to make a difference in the world.

Monday through Friday by appointment career coaching is available for 30-minute individual meetings to discuss career exploration, job and internship searches, resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, and more with current students and alumni up to one year after graduation.

Career Guides & Worksheets

Resumes: Take the first steps in putting your experiences on paper by building a resume! Remember, there are 3 types of resumes:

Foundational Resume (sometimes called a C.V.)
Your "personal library" of everything you've done including (but not limited to) work history, volunteer experiences, academic projects, coursework, leadership and more. If you are pursuing academia as a profession, you may be asked to submit or provide a C.V.

Tailored Resume
This is a separate or new document that is customized to integrate keywords from the position description of a specific job posting you're interested in applying to. Only list relevant and powerful experiences reflecting job responsibilities and qualifications.

Aspirational Resume
Typically used to showcase relevant experiences towards the industry or type of work you aspire to pursue. This resume format is helpful to use at career fairs or as your LinkedIn profile.

Need personalized help? Make an appointment with a career coach who can offer guidance in crafting strong descriptions that illustrate your talent and skill set.
Cover Letters: Tell your story, explain "why that particular company?" or "why that specific role?"

A cover letter is your time to shine and draw in the reader through a narrative that weaves together how your unique experiences can fulfill the job responsibilities. Remember,
