Closures

The CAPS office will occasionally close for university events, recognized holidays, and inclement weather. In the event the CAPS office is closed, please call (206)-296-6090 to schedule an appointment or for any questions you may have.

If the CAPS office has closed for an expected holiday or university event we will return your call when we return for regular business hours. If the CAPS office has closed for inclement weather or another unexpected event, the CAPS staff may be working remotely and will return correspondence as we are able. For the latest updates on unexpected campus closures, visit the Department of Public Safety (DPS) website here or text "SeattleUAlert" to 79516.

The CAPS office will be closed for the following holidays recognized by Seattle University through 2023-2024:

2023:

Juneteenth - Monday, June 19th
Independence Day - Monday, July 3rd - Tuesday, July 4th
Labor Day - Monday, September 4th
Veteran's Day - Friday, November 10th
Thanksgiving Break - Wednesday, November 22nd (Noon closure) - Sunday, November 26th
Winter Holiday Break - Friday, December 22nd - Monday, January 1st, 2024

2024:

Martin Luther King Jr. Day - Monday, January 15th
Presidents' Day - Monday, February 19th, 2023
Easter Break - Friday, March 29th - Monday, April 1st
Memorial Day - Monday, May 27th
Juneteenth - Wednesday, June 19th

Additional holiday closure dates for 2024 will published as they are determined by the university.
