Campus Ministry offers a variety of programs for students and the broader SU community to engage at the intersections of faith, community, and social justice during the Fall Quarter. Lunch on the Couch

Looking for a space to unwind and connect? Join Campus Ministry on Tuesdays for Lunch on the Couch. We'll spend some time together catching up, playing games, and having a good time.  We can't be physically in the same space this quarter, but we can still gather from our own respective couches for community and lunch. Drop in with your lunch (or without it) to catch up with our staff and friends.

Join Campus Ministry for a five-week Bible study where we dive deep into the person of Jesus, his life in context, his revolutionary mission, and his invitation to transformational discipleship. Our gatherings will be on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. While we hope you can join us for the full series, you are welcome to join in for just one or more session as you can.

Evening of Reflection for Graduate and Post-Traditional Students

Join fellow students from across programs for an evening of reflection hosted by Campus Ministry. In the midst of a challenging year, this mini-retreat will invite participants to slow down and reflect as they arrive halfway through the quarter. The evening will consist of opportunities to engage with various prayer and reflection practices, including silent reflection, small group sharing, and embodied prayer. Regardless of religious background, all are welcome to join, especially those with an openness to deepening one’s reflective experience through the Ignatian tradition.

Queer People of Faith: Rainbow Connection

Join Campus Ministry for an ongoing space of conversation and healing. We'll be gathering on Zoom every other Tuesday starting October 6 to engage with other queer people and connect around identities of spirituality, gender, and sexuality. Bring your friends!

Weekly Rosary Prayer

Join the Rosary Group for a half hour of praying the Rosary every Friday at 1:30 pm. The Rosary is a Catholic contemplative practice meditating on the life of Christ, in which prayers are recited using rosary beads as guides. Bring your own rosary, or use your fingers instead! All are welcome.

New Student Retreat

Are you a first-year or transfer student interested in building community during your first quarter at SU? On New Student Retreat, you'll have the chance to build community in a small group of your peers that will meet throughout fall quarter, to reflect on your journey to and at SU, to mix and mingle with fellow new students across similarities and difference at a handful of virtual large group gatherings, and to have some fun while you're at it! New Student Retreat is open to all undergraduate first-year and transfer students.

Faith formation for RCIA and Confirmation
 

Are you interested in becoming Catholic? Were you baptized Catholic, but have not been Confirmed? Campus Ministry’s faith formation program invites students into a journey of exploration, prayer, reflection, and community that leads to receiving the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist) in the Catholic Church. Through these sacraments, we deepen our relationship with God and with the Catholic faith community. 

Program dates: Ongoing throughout the academic year.

Mass at the Chapel of St. Ignatius

Campus Ministry is offering Mass at the Chapel of St. Ignatius for current students, staff, and faculty only. Pre-registration is required, and no guests or visitors are permitted. Pre-registration closes by 4 p.m. the previous day. 

 Monday through Friday 12:30 p.m.
  Sundays 4 p.m.
