The JSU exists to provide a place for Jewish students to meet and connect on the SU campus and provide opportunities for the wider community to experience and learn more about Jewish culture and practices through campus wide events and programs. Keep your eyes open for JSU events around the Jewish holidays of Sukkot, Purim, Hanukkah, and Passover. Past events include a "Hanu-chaos" Party, Holocaust Remembrance event, and JSU Shabbat Dinner.
In addition to JSU, Hillel UW is great organization that exists in Seattle to support Jewish young
adults. Many SU students are involved at Hillel UW. Hillel’s mission is to be a catalyst toward a meaningful Jewish life
for 18-32 year olds through vibrant communities and innovative experiences. Services
are held each week at 6:30pm, they last about an hour and are followed by a
free, Kosher meal. You can get more information about Hillel by visiting

The MSA exists to provide a place for Muslim students to meet and connect on the SU campus as well as provide opportunities for the wider community to experience and learn more about Islam through campus wide events and programs. The MSA organizes a regular Jummah service each Friday at 1:30pm in the Multifaith Prayer Room located in Campion Hall. The Multifaith Prayer Room is available for our Muslim students to pray in on a first come first serve basis 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Muslim Student Association meetings are on Tuesdays, 12:30-1:30pm in Piggott 107 for the remainder of Fall Quarter.
