Due to campus quarantine restrictions at the beginning of Winter Quarter, Masses at the Chapel will resume on Monday, February 8, 2021. All students, staff, alumni, and friends of SU are welcome to join us for our virtual prayer gatherings on Zoom on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. for Sunday Word and Worship starting January 10, 2021.
Students returning to campus must abide by Seattle University quarantine and testing requirements, as outlined in this campus announcement. Once they resume, Masses will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 4 p.m. on Sundays, with pre-registration required on ConnectSU by 4 p.m. the previous day. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the gathering is limited to 25 persons, pre-registration is required and attendance is restricted to current students, staff and faculty only. No visitors, guests, or non-affiliates are permitted to attend.
As a reminder, everyone coming onto campus must complete their Safe Start Health Check screening and abide by the Campus Face Covering Policy. Outside of these Mass times the Chapel remains closed to facilitate cleaning and sanitizing. Questions can be directed to liturgy@seattleu.edu.
Questions about Mass or virtual prayer can be directed to lopezjo@seattleu.edu.
If you’re looking for livestream liturgy offerings, be sure to connect with our local parishes, like St. James Cathedral and St. Joseph’s Parish. St. James Cathedral is offering in-person public Masses, but registration is required and space is limited. More information can be found here, including a link to sign up for St. James e-newsletter with updates on in person public Masses.
