Mentoring Objectives & Scope
To provide insight into careers and life in the sports industry, spanning from minor league sports to sporting goods. Support in preparing for job interviews and perspective on what it takes to be a successful professional in any field.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
I am flexible for virtual meetings. When in-person is again possible, the Brooks office or Miir coffee shop in Fremont are easiest during the day. I can also meet near campus as necessary.
I worked for 4 years at Brett Sports, primarily in minor league baseball but also in minor league hockey. My experience there included stadium operations, concessions, ticket sales, and promotions. I now work in finance in the sporting goods industry.
