Born and raised in the Bay Area, William came to the Northwest in 2010 to pursue his higher education at the University of Washington—Seattle. While in his undergraduate study, William became involved with numerous service learning opportunities that engaged him in mentoring and tutoring students in the greater Seattle area. Initially planning to be a high school English teacher, William shifted his attention to one-on-one tutoring and mentoring initiatives, serving in AmeriCorps and working at Seattle Central Community College. These experiences have inspired William to pursue a Master’s Degree at Seattle U’s Student Development Administration program. William will be working closely with the Undergraduate advising team, and will also aid in supervising the New Student Mentors in Albers. William is excited to assist students in Albers while also bringing valuable insight from his coursework. When not studying or advising, William enjoys playing basketball, archery, and having a good laugh.
