Personal Bio

Shannon Huddy is an adjunct business professor at Seattle University. Previously, she taught fulltime for seven years at Sierra Nevada College located near Lake Tahoe in Nevada. Outside of academics, Shannon has had a full career starting off in television, working at the Phoenix ABC news affiliate, KNXV. Next, she transitioned into working as a publicist for Five-Star hotels such as The Phoenician and The St. Regis in Aspen. As much as she enjoyed her journalism career, at heart, she is an entrepreneur, which is why she has owned two companies – one a grass-fed meat distribution company, and the other, a consulting company focusing on executive coaching and website redesign.

Shannon earned her doctorate in Education with a focus on Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University, focusing her research on the topic of vulnerability in the classroom and effective teaching techniques.
