Personal Bio

David is a strategic and visionary business leader who is passionate about accelerating the next big idea and maximizing the impact that people deliver to organizations.

Concluding nearly a decade of HR leadership within Microsoft, David returned to his consulting roots in 2014 and formed Jaxx Strategic Partners, a strategy and business development services firm positioned to cultivate the growth of start-up to mid-sized organizations. Most recently, David joined the venture capital fund FJCT Investments as a founding partner.

Throughout a career spanning the public, private, and social sectors, David has built a global reputation for being an entrepreneurially trusted partner focusing strategy development, business development, human capital management, project management, organizational excellence, and leadership formation.

David holds a B.A. in political science from Howard University, is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®), and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). In 2009, he earned an MBA with a concentration in Executive Leadership Development from Seattle University’s Albers School of Business and Economics’ Center for Leadership Formation. In 2014, David returned to Seattle University to pursue a doctoral degree with research focused on adult education and professional leadership development.

David’s business passion is matched by his dedication to community service. He serves on the boards of the HR Certification Institute, Seattle University’s Center for Leadership Formation, and is the Board President of the Domestic Abuse Women’s Network (DAWN), which is one of Washington's largest organizations dedicated to ending domestic violence.
