-Completes monthly journal entries related to cash, prepaids, accrued expenses
-Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of account balances
-Works across departments to determine upcoming events and projects to confirm proper treatment and accrue as needed
-Prepare and file sales tax returns, annual returns, personal property tax, and franchise tax forms
-Work on process initiatives to increase accuracy and decrease time spent on manual tasks
-Research various accounting topics as needed
