Currently Heather is a manager on the Interiors Responsibility Center Business Operations team. In this position she manages the daily running of the business and strategy integration.

Boeing is organized into two business units: Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Boeing Commercial Airplanes Boeing has been the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for more than 40 years. Today, the main commercial products are the 737, 747, 767 and 777 families of airplanes and the Boeing Business Jet. New product development efforts are focused on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and the 747-8. The company has nearly 12,000 commercial jetliners in service worldwide, which is roughly 75 percent of the world fleet.
Previously Heather was in Business Operations on the new 777X development program in which she managed the program management best practices and complex customer configuration development. Prior to that she was a Business Operations Senior Manager responsible for the 777 Program Management team. In this role she managed successful daily operations, customer introductions, and work statement management. In her first management position, she was a Senior Manager in Business Operations leading the Strategy Integration and Business Development team at Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Through her 18 years at Boeing, Heather has worked on the 787 program, supported Product Development, was a research and development Contracts Manager, and an Information Technology (IT) Project Manager. Heather joined Boeing in 2001 as a Systems Analyst. Prior to joining Boeing Heather worked as an Assistant Manager at Starbucks and in management at Sara Lee retail locations.
Heather earned a masters in business administration from Seattle University, focusing on international business. She also has a bachelor of arts in international politics from Western Washington University, during which she studied in Japan for a year. Heather also has masters’ certificates in project management from George Washington University and applied information technology from the Information Technical Institute.
