Defense Contract Management Agency - Worked with Air Force, Navy, Army and Defense Agencies for the acquisition of military aircraft, to include: P8 Poseidon Multi-Mission Maritime Aircraft - a modified Boeing 737-800 to perform missions over the ocean; KC 46 Pegasus - a modified Boeing 767 for aircraft aerial refueling tanker; Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) - modified Boeing 707; Boeing 757 (Japan) - aircraft in support of both United States and partner nations, such as Saudi Arabia, Japan, NATO and France CH-47 Chinook Helicopters V-22 Osprey Helicopters Executive Transport Aircraft, to include: VC-25 Boeing 747 (Air Force One); Boeing C-32 Boeing 757 (Air Force Two) Supported a number of senior military, civilian and international leaders in delivery and maintenance of aircraft. Worked with both government and contractor leaders in supply chain and logistics management. Focused on contract administration for major aircraft weapon systems with a portfolio valued over $10 billion; worked actively with one of the largest Defense contractors to reduce cost by over $1 billion; conducted post graduate level training in classroom like environments on accounting, cost, contracts, and business law; determined the allocation of resources to allocate to programs in accordance with Agency policy and sound business practices; served as a business advisor in litigation, to include participation in written interrogatories, oral depositions, and court proceedings; successfully worked to improve key agency metrics and improve stakeholder interaction. US Department of Energy: Served as a business advisor on large scale nuclear waste clean up projects, to include: Waste Treatment & Immobilization Plant - design and construction of a nuclear waste treatment plant with program cost of over $12 billion Tank Farms - Storage of nuclear waste on the Hanford Site with a contract cost of over $6 billion Worked with federal, state, and contractor management to ensure safety compliance; contract terms and conditions; negotiations; and efficient use of resources. Successfully negotiated over $50 million in American Recovery & Reinvestment Act shovel ready projects to create and save jobs on the Hanford site Defense Contract Audit Agency: Supported key senior leaders in contract audits, to include programs such as: General Atomics MQ-1 Predator - a remotely piloted aircraft Mission Support - Information Technology systems to support the Hanford Nuclear Site Leak Detection Services for nuclear powered submarines Worked with leaders across government in key business areas such as: Business System Adequacy - such as Accounting, IT, Labor, Purchasing and General Internal Controls Cost Accounting and Cost Allocation Contract Pricing Commercial Item Pricing

Mentoring Objectives & Scope
I have a strong interest in organizational development, executive leadership, and building a foundation of strong technical credibility. I would focus the mentoring on five executive tenants - business acumen, leading people, leading change, driving results, and building coalitions. I can relate my own experiences rising from an intern to an executive responsible for over 100 individuals and billions of dollars in spend in eleven years - which was done by goal setting, studying, and forming relationships. I would utilize interactive sessions, such as touring facilities, watching movies, and/or recent events to relate to students. I'd expect students to be energetic, open to new ideas, and a strong desire to not only work on their own skills, but to ensure the work they are doing benefits the greater good of the world.

I love the outdoors; traveling; and meeting new people.
