Mentoring Objectives & Scope
My objective as a mentor is to provide meaningful engagement. Each student is typically unique in where they are at in their education, career and life; thus the topics, networking opportunities and outcomes really vary. Students can expect to meet at least once a month, to discuss objectives that are meaningful to them (often: strategy, communications, change management, execution, globalization and leadership among others). I utilize my professional network (both for-profit and non-profit) to provide students with a broader perspective from others in our community (and globally). My expectations are that we will all learn, grow (professionally and personally) and have as much fun as possible along the way.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
Expeditors, SU Campus, or the Seattle Area
