Job Description

VP of Sales and Marketing plays a key role in the growth of Caliber Real Estate, including setting strategic direction for marketing activities, lead generation and funnels, sales processes, sales reporting and management, employee mentorship, creative oversight, sales training, and product development. Being part of a small firm allows me to be involved in many aspects of the business, extending beyond the traditional Sales & Marketing functions.

Caliber Real Estate is an investment minded full-service real estate brokerage serving both investors and traditional buyers and sellers. Caliber provides our clients access to more inventory than any other brokerage, including properties available through foreclosure auction, wholesale or "off-market" properties, and traditionally listed properties. Our experience renovating homes for profit (flipping) provides us with keen insights into the investment side of real estate, and benefits clients whether they are purchasing a home to live in or an investment property.

Employment History

I've worked in a variety of marketing and sales roles throughout my career, including health insurance, ad sales, car and home audio manufacturing, Online stock brokerage (ShareBuilder - now CapitalOne Investing), Microsoft, and now Investment Real Estate. I even spent time pursuing a tech "side hustle." My diverse experience has provided me with insights into many industries and work environments, the rewards and challenges that come with each, and what it takes to be successful and find satisfaction.

Mentoring Objectives & Scope

I graduated school with no real idea of what I wanted to do for work, and spent the first decade of my career discovering who I am, where I'm gifted, what drives me to succeed, and how to best put this all to use in the business world. I discovered some wonderful techniques and tools along my journey that I wish someone had shared with me earlier on, and thus am wanting to share them with students uncertain of what roles they are best suited for to bring them satisfaction in their career.
