Mentoring Objectives & Scope
My goal is to introduce business students to an amazing profession. When I was in grad school, I had no idea this profession even existed, let alone how to become a part of it. Mentees must show up and be ready to engage in spirited dialogue. I want to show mentees all facets of this business, and have them come away understanding both the potential rewards and obstacles to success. I will ask mentees to be devil's advocates, challenging me on my thinking, assumptions, investment selections, and business practices.
When and where do you hold meetings with your students?
TBD, but most likely on the Eastside.
Additional Information
I am privileged to have found, and work in, what I consider the most rewarding profession bar none. The rewards come not just financially, but also through knowing I have a profound impact on people's lives, when I get them to the point where they no longer need to worry about money. I also enjoy sharing with my clients the wisdom I've gained over the year, not just from living my own life, but also wisdom elderly clients have shared with me. As I enter the twilight of my career, I want to introduce younger people to this profession.
