Job Description

Harris Clarke has served as a Vice President for PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company, a northwest regional personal-lines insurer based in Seattle, Washington, since 2014. As an executive, he has led the sales and service organizations and currently has responsibility for underwriting, product and sales.   Before that, he led the company’s Digital Services team that developed its intranet, quote-to-purchase capabilities for online sales, customer self-service including paperless choices, and mobile apps for iPhone and Android. He joined PEMCO in 2012.

His focus lies in helping leaders throughout the organization ensure PEMCO customers get an unmatched relationship-driven experience regardless of the channel they choose – whether that’s in person, on the phone, or via self-service online tools.

Harris’s background in sales, service, operations, and strategic development includes 15 years in the insurance industry. He’s worked with Safeco, Premera Blue Cross, and QBE/Unigard to guide product development, digital solutions, and program management. He also served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1990.


Harris is a United States Military Academy graduate and holds a Leadership Executive MBA from Seattle University
