2020: Ethics, Social Media & Democracy

Ethics, Social Media and Democracy

Due to COVID-19, this year's scheduled keynote events exploring Ethics, Social Media and Democracy have been postponed until Fall Quarter. As the 2020 election cycle moves forward, we will explore the effects of social media, the responsibilities of media companies in responding to "fake news" and disinformation as well as the roles that individuals have in maintaining our democratic institutions.
