Velocity Dance Center
Founded in 1996 by KT Niehoff and Michele Miller, the Velocity Dance Center provides training, classes, and rehearsal space to the greater Puget Sound area contemporary dance community. Velocity relocated from the Odd Fellows building on Capitol Hill to its nearby home on 12th Avenue in 2010. Significant program growth occurred under the leadership of Tanya Lockyer and other leaders, expanding Velocity’s contributions to the national and international field of dance.
