Theatre Off Jackson
Northwest Asian American Theatre (NWAAT), under the leadership of Bea Kiyohara, renovated a former garage into Theatre Off Jackson in Seattle’s International District in 1987. Following the closure of NWAAT in 2004 the 140-seat theater has served as a performance space for small arts groups and independent artists presenting plays, music, film, readings and other events using a production partnership model.
