Built in 1927 as a place for bathers on the shore of popular Green Lake, the Bathhouse was converted by the City of Seattle into a small theater in 1970. The Bathhouse Theater’s 165-seat capacity has been home to varied theater performances, first as a Seattle Parks and Recreation program and then as the home of Seattle Public Theater starting in 2000.
