Tashiro Kaplan Artists Lofts opened in 2004, providing 50 units of affordable housing and creative space to artists and their families in a significantly renovated historic building in Pioneer Square. Developed by Artspace Projects, Inc. and funded by public and private entities, the building also houses 28 commercial arts related entities, including 4Culture.
