Seattle Children’s Theatre
The Seattle Children’s Theatre (SCT) brings professional theater and theater education to children and youth in the greater Puget Sound region. After starting out at the PONCHO Theatre on the grounds of the Woodland Park Zoo, and being officially founded in 1975, SCT moved in 1993 to its newly built Charlotte Martin Theatre at Seattle Center, under Artistic Director Linda Hartzell. Nationally and internationally recognized for its commitment to new works, SCT’s 482-seat and 275-seat theaters are also home to the SCT Drama School.
