Rainier Valley Cultural Center
The Rainier Valley Cultural Center was purchased by South East Effective Development (SEED) in 1995 as a multicultural community performance space and opened its doors in 1997. The 1921 former church space provides performance opportunities, workshops, and summer camps for local youth, and the Center produces an annual Summer Series of outdoor movies, concerts, and plays in Columbia Park. The focus is on serving the ethnically diverse Rainier Valley community. In 2015 the name was changed to the Rainier Arts Center.
