Olympic Sculpture Park
The Seattle Art Museum's nine acre Olympic Sculpture Park opened to the public in 2007 on Seattle’s last undeveloped downtown waterfront property. The museum worked with the Trust for Public Lands, with additional private and public funding. An endowment from Jon and Mary Shirley ensures free entry to the public in perpetuity. This third SAM campus was designed by the New York firm of Weiss/Manfredi melding art, landscape, architecture and infrastructure.
