Japanese Cultural and Community Center of WA
Since its establishment in 2003, the Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Washington (JCCCW) has been a hub for Japanese history, heritage, and culture for residents of Seattle and beyond. Located on the site of the original Seattle Japanese Language School, which was founded in 1902, the JCCCW is not only dedicated to preserving cultural knowledge but also to building and supporting the community around it. The JCCCW offers classes, events, and cultural programming to youth and adults and has been recognized as a critical support structure for the Japanese and Japanese American community in the city since its inception.
