
911 Media Arts Center
911 Media Arts Center (initially called Focal Point Media Center), an offshoot of and/or , was founded in 1984 by Anne Focke, Heather Dew Oaksen, Jill Medvedow, Norie Sato and others. 911 Media Arts Center supported new-media production and education, with screenings, workshops, and equipment access. It also partnered with many Seattle civic and arts organizations, such as the City of Seattle, Seattle Art Museum, Wing Luke Museum, and the Museum of History and Industry, until its closure in 2014.
