Founded in 1965 to support arts and culture in King County, the King County Arts Commission later became the King County Office of Cultural Resources, and then 4 Culture, a Public Development Authority (PDA) in 2003. 4Culture supports four program areas: arts, heritage, preservation, and public art and offers grants and artist calls.
