Jim Blundell, JD
Jim earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Washington and his J.D. from Santa Clara University. He currently teaches the Administrative Law course in the MPA program within the Institute for Public Service here at Seattle University. Jim has served in numerous roles in both the private and public sectors, at the local, state and federal levels of government. He practiced law in Olympia, serving small cities and private developers on land use, municipal and real property matters. He worked as Legislative Counsel to a U.S. Senator. He served as House Counsel to the Washington State House of Representatives. And he has spent the last several years in regulatory and government affairs roles at two northwest homegrown wireless carriers, Western Wireless and T-Mobile. Jim lives on the eastside with his wife, Catherine. They have two grown children, Andrew and Natalie, who live and go to school on the east coast.
