Shannon is a MAP graduate working in private practice in Seattle. She focuses in counseling people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans* (gender, sexual, -gressing social labels), Intersex, Queer, Questioning, Pansexual, Poly, Kinky, etc. (otherwise known as sexual minorities). She is a trained sexuality educator and works as a workshop presenter focusing in post-cancer sexuality and intimacy and communication and training the medical community in cultural humility. In addition to therapy work, Shannon is an adjunct professor focused in teaching sexuality and gender courses through an interdisciplinary lens and focuses on bringing marginalized voices to the classroom.
