The Student Executive Council (SEC) is a student advisory board to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The students are all undergraduates who each represent a different department in the College of Arts and Sciences as well as the student body as a whole.
The representatives work as the students' voice to those who can make change happen in the College as well as in each department working as a link between students, Dean, and the Chair of each department.
The Student Executive Council has been around for over ten years and will continue to be a presence for you, the students, here on campus. If you have further questions, contact our SEC chairs Yilan Gao, Isabella Rivera and Margaret Girardin.
Applications for SEC Representatives are accepted annually. Recruitment of representatives for the 2018-2019 academic year has closed. If you are interested in joining SEC next year, please contact Yilan Gao.
