Certificate Requirements

The Sport Sustainability Leadership (SSL) graduate certificate curriculum consists of 4 courses and a required capstone project (15 credits). The 15-credit program may be completed in nine months by taking all 5 courses across three consecutive quarters. A total of 3 credits of capstone (SADL 5895) are required.  Registration in SADL 5895 is required during the final quarter of the student’s certificate program.  

Additionally as part of SADL 5895, our students are required to take the U.S. Green Building Council LEED Associate certification exam. LEED, Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, is a green building certification program that recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices.
