Student Executive Council

  • The Student Executive Council (SEC) is a student advisory board to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The students are all undergraduates who each represent a different department in the College of Arts and Sciences as well as the student body as a whole.

The representatives work as the students' voice to those who can make change happen in the College as well as in each department working as a link between students, Dean, and the Chair of each department.

The Student Executive Council has been around for over ten years and will continue to be a presence for you, the students, here on campus. If you have further questions, contact our SEC co-chairs, August Hastings Grace Taylor, and Allison Thompson.

    Application Information

Applications for SEC Representatives are accepted annually. Recruitment of representatives for the 2015-2016 academic year has been closed. Recruitment for the 2016-2015 academic year will take place in early May, 2016. If you have any questions about SEC or the application process, contact one of the SEC co-chairs. Additional information about joining SEC can be found here.
