Northwest Society for Phenomenology, Existentialism, and Hermeneutics

A long-standing forum for discussion among scholars in areas pertaining to Continental philosophy, NESPEH conducts regular meetings with visiting scholars. Membership includes faculty from a number of universities in the Northwest region.

Northwest Lonergan Symposium

This forum brings together local area scholars interested in the work of Jesuit philosopher and theologian, Bernard Lonergan. An annual meeting is devoted to discussing selected readings. This meeting draws faculty from multiple Seattle University departments and schools, and from multiple universities in the Northwest region. Its membership includes students, professionals, and independent scholars. The meetings, which occur in January, also seek to serve as an opportunity for those who are unfamiliar with Lonergan's work to be introduced to it.
