YouthCare serves homeless and street-involved youth ages 15-24, in Seattle, Washington and operates seven housing programs in addition to the Orion Center. Our transitional living programs serve youth, providing a stable residential environment with supportive staff.  Residents pursue educational goals and develop the life skills that will help them transition to stability.  The Orion Center is unique in its range of services, providing basic needs, case management, a GED program, a Seattle Public Interagency High School, post-secondary educational support, and employment programs.

Under the supervision of the Director of Employment & Education, the Employment Services Manager is responsible for overseeing YouthCare’s programming focused on building youth’s employment skills and supporting their transitions into employment. Currently, the programming includes the Barista Training Employment Program, a growing internship programs as well as supporting our team of Career Coordinators and our Employer Engagement Specialist across all of YouthCare’s service model.

The Employment Services Manager is primarily responsible for the successful execution of each of these programs, contract management, maintaining and developing the external partnerships for each program, and providing expertise on employment and engagement tactics that will resonate with our youth.
