The Foundation for Health Care Quality (FHCQ) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a trusted, independent, third party resource to all participants in the health care community – including patients, providers, payers, employers, government agencies, and public health professionals.
This role encompasses coordinating event planning, educational offerings, marketing and communications, and operations for the WPSC, providing event support to other FHCQ programs, and helping to kick off a social media presence for the FHCQ as a whole. You will work most closely with the WPSC Executive Director, members, committees, patient and family advocates, and other stakeholders in the patient safety and quality sectors. Experience in healthcare and familiarity with its hot topics, thought leaders, terminology and concepts, especially as related to patient safety and quality, will enable you to quickly get up to speed in this role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders and proficient at distilling down complex subject matter to communicate main points effectively as required to facilitate WSPC’s educational offerings. We are willing to train the right candidate.
