Development Associate - Hospice Northwest Foundation

Founded in 2000, the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation is a 501 c 3 nonprofit corporation dedicated to funding the programs and services of Hospice of the Northwest. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Associate provides support to the Board of Trustees, the Executive Director and the Development Coordinator. The Development Associate maintains a high degree of accuracy and data integrity and is responsible for organizing, prioritizing and completing complex administrative projects. This roll provides support to all areas of the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation including serving as a liaison to donors, trustees, and other departments as needed for a variety of development and stewardship efforts. The Development Associate supports the Hospice of the Northwest Foundation in meeting its mission to raise, manage, and grant funds in support of Hospice of the Northwest, is able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities with a smile and still a provide high quality outcome, and works independently while able to meet deadlines. The Development Associate will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising foundation volunteers. The Development Associate will manage the donor database as well as enter and maintain data in the Foundation bookkeeping program. The Development Associate also serves on and provides support for all Foundation committees.
