The Snow Leopard Trust is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1981 in Seattle, Washington. Today the Trust is the oldest and largest organization dedicated to saving wild snow leopards in their native habitats in the mountains of Central Asia. It has nearly 40 years of experience leading snow leopard conservation efforts at local, national, and international levels.

Since the Trust has an internationally based Executive Director, the Trust also needs Seattle based leadership. The Deputy Director position has therefore been created to take on responsibility for the day-to-day management of operations and office functions in Seattle, support the ED in managing key organizational initiatives, manage key senior staff, help to maintain and grow existing donor relationships and developing and managing key stakeholder relationships. The Deputy Director will represent the organization in most US based events and communications.

Major responsibilities include day-to-day operations and statutory compliance support, coordination of the implementation of strategies, leading efforts to build key stakeholder relationships, assisting in hiring and management of staff, and promoting awareness of the organization.
