The mission of Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region is to help people reach their fullest potential through education, job placement, and career pathway services made possible by community donations, purchases, and partnerships.
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will be a member of our Executive Team and have responsibility for the financial management and reporting systems of the organization, financing and investment strategies, and safeguarding fiduciary assets. The CFO will serve as the chief financial counselor, advisor, and strategist in building the organization’s long-term strategic plan and managing its annual $80 million+ operational plan, using analytical and technical expertise and business judgment to support the agency's mission and to assist Executive Staff and Board of Directors in decision-making.
The CFO oversees our short and long range financial planning, annual budgets, and acts as our financial consultant when we investigate new opportunities to fund our mission and our work, including but limited to the thrift retail sector. As a result, the person selected for this role must have a keen understanding of how to maintain the health and wealth of a multi-locational organization, and the ability to weigh possible risks and rewards of strategic ventures, contracts, and investments.
