Anne Basham Shukla is alumna of the MFA program and has gained a reputation for being a program evaluation expert in the arts. After earning a BA in Public Communication from American University, Anne spent ten months as an AmeriCorps N*CCC Member and has worked for nonprofit organizations worldwide from London, UK to Honolulu, HI.
Anne has over a decade of experience working with nonprofit organizations including serving as Field Coordinator for the Washington Families Fund System Initiative Evaluation through Westat, a research firm based in Rockville, MD. In this role, Anne facilitates data collection and acts as the liaison between local homeless shelter contacts and the Rockville, Maryland-based evaluation team.
Anne currently works as an Associate Consultant for MEMconsultants, working with clients to design internal evaluations that seek evidence of program impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
