For more than 25 years, Seattle University's Nonprofit Leadership program has led the way.
Our curriculum combines a commitment to social justice, the latest in leadership theory and nonprofit research, and the practical management skills and dexterity required of nonprofit leaders. You work with a distinguished mix of Seattle University faculty and practitioner instructors, learn with a cohort of peers, expand your portfolio, and build your network among nonprofit and philanthropic leaders in the region. When you graduate, you join a community of more than 450 alumni who are leading change in nonprofit, public and private organizations around the world.
You are a recent graduate or in an entry-level position in the nonprofit sector. You are ready to fully apply your talents, knowledge and experience, developing new skills and expanding your understanding of the field.
You are a full-time professional in the nonprofit sector ready to move to the next level. You are prepared to leverage your current experience and fill knowledge gaps, setting your sights on reimagining your leadership.
You are ready to learn how to apply the skills and perspective of your successful career to the causes that matter most to you. This is your time to embrace the future, center your values, and follow your passion to make lasting change.
Our faculty has direct nonprofit work experience and we know the work and dedication it takes to continue your education. Our master’s degree, designed for working professionals, and hybrid graduate certificate allow you to get the education you need while continuing to build your career. With multiple scholarships and financial aid available, and with faculty and community partners focused on helping you achieve your goals, we help you transform the world.
