The accrediting body for social work programs across the nation, the Council for Social Work Education (CSWE), supports efforts across the nation opposing The White House's Executive Order "Protection of the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States."  CSWE is also in solidarity with the National Association of Social Worker's recent statement opposing executive order and has joined other professional education entities in voicing support of the opposition including: the American Council on Education, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a coalition of health professional education associations, Association of American Universities, the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities, and the International Association of Schools of Social Work.
