We are back and bringing you the second teach-in of our Anthropology, Sociology and Social Work (ASSW) Department hosted, Social Justice Teach-In Series.  This month's teach-in "Student Advocacy and Activism on the Seattle University Campus" planned and implemented by two amazing ASSW students and a Social Work Faculty will be an open discussion to create ongoing ideas for change. All Seattle University students, staff and faculty as well as community members are welcome and encouraged to attend. The discussion will focus on student activism and advocacy and center the experiences of students with marginalized identities.  In doing this work, self care and knowledge building and awareness are critical.  Keeping this in mind, guests should expect to receive and share mental health resources, radical self-care tips and information on SU courses that are social justice driven so that they too have the tools need for continued work in advocacy and activism.
