"Our social justice-focused and community-based clinical MSW program will prepare you for an advanced clinical social work practice. Clinical social workers engage in all aspects of social work practice including psychotherapy and counseling, crisis intervention, case management, client-centered advocacy, consultation, supervision, and organizational management. In our program, you will study with faculty who are passionate about social justice and engaged in research, teaching and practice that aim to produce social change. Building upon the strong foundation of generalist practice, you will gain critical knowledge of contemporary theories and evidence-based practice to understand the interconnection between personal struggles and structural oppression. Throughout the program, you will develop exemplary clinical and advocacy skills to work with individuals, families and groups."
